SUMMER 2012 The Performing Arts Studio of New York, Ltd. 11 Traders Cove, Port Jefferson, NY 11777 Directors: Deborah Livering, Michael Livering, Terri Morrissey Dear Friends, We are excited about our upcoming summer theater program, CAMP BROADWAY at PAS! This program is an intensive seven-week theater program for our young thespians. We will have class for 5th-12th graders and 2nd and 3rd graders.  To insure individual attention and performance experience, we are keeping class small, no more than 14 students.  Class will end the summer with a musical in our own Black Box Theater. We are as you know, a process oriented theater school.  Our objective is to provide young actors with a well-rounded theater education.  Theater games, improvisation, voice and diction, singing, theater movement, scenic design, and a field trip to local theaters are all part of this summer’s itinerary.  These process classes will take place in the morning. We will also provide each child the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken at a discounted rate. Play rehearsal will take place in the afternoon. To make our program even more convenient for you, before-care is also available for a small fee. So, if your young actor is interested in an intensive, fun-filled theatrical summer, please let us know as soon as possible, as space is limited.  We look forward to talking to you.
