WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN:
Musical Theater Workshops for Children. (Fifteen week workshops for Children.) Enjoy the process and experience the search.
This is a 'triple threat' program combining acting, music, and movement. Learn theater arts skills through theater games,
pantomime, improvisation, scene study, vocal production and diction, music, and much more. (Class is limited to ten.)
Noise/Funk! This
is an innovative and exciting vocal performance workshop for children who love to sing. The children will learn a variety
of muscical styles, explore harmonies, and learn original arrangements from Bach to Rock. This is an invaluable educational
musical experience! The children will perform for the community, accompanied by the Performing Arts Studio's Children's Keyboard
Fusion Ensemble.
Keyboard Fusion Ensemble (A
workshop for pianists.)
Learn the art of keyboard orchestrations and enjoy the thrill of being a
member of the ensemble. Each student is provided with a keyboard and explores musical styles, the world of improvisation,
theory, and ensemble work. (Class is limited to four.)

WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS:
Finding Your True Voice (A twelve
week vocal performance workshop for adults who love to sing.)
Learn the fundamentals of vocal production. Explore harmonies and rhythms
while singing with an ensemble, and build your repertoire - all genres from Broadway to JAZZ to POP.
Find your individual style and improve your skills as a soloist, then refine
your stage presence. Learn microphone technique, develop recording skills, and DISCOVER YOUR STAR POTENTIAL! (Classes
limited to seven adults, Beginner and Intermediate. Accompanist provided.)
Sirens (Adults) (A twelve-week advanced vocal performance workshop) This vocal orchestra will
explore advanced harmonies, rhythms, and styles. Singers will be working as soloists, as well as collaborating on group selections.
OUR OBJECTIVE: To create professional level programs to be performed for an audience. The Voicestra is above and beyond the
every day chorus. This select group of singers will work to create a unique and diverse repertoire of music. By audition only,
this class is limited to seven adults.
Acting Workshops for Adults (Acting Fundamentals, Scene study, improvisation, diction, and audition technique.) Learn
the fundamentals of theater. Learn theater arts skills, through pantomime, improvisation, scene study, vocal production and
diction. Learn the BUSINESS OF SHOW BUSINESS from professionals who have been there. (Class is limited to eight. Eight week
program.)
AUDITION TECHNIQUE: Work through your audition
material and receive feedback from professionals in the field.
